TRCN Exam Dates 2026: Next PQE, Registration Deadline & Exam Centres
The next Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) is the November 2026 diet, and registration is open now. If you haven’t registered yet, the date that matters most is the registration deadline.
This page keeps track of the PQE timetable for you: registration deadlines, exam dates, centres and results. We check TRCN’s official information regularly and update this page as things change.

How firm are these dates?
Both dates above come from TRCN’s registration system, but they aren’t equally firm. The deadline is the point at which the system stops accepting registrations. The exam date is still provisional.
The registration system currently shows a deadline of 01:00 WAT on 16 October. In practical terms, you should regard 15 October as your last day.
And don’t leave it until the final evening if you can avoid it. TRCN has to verify your qualification and assign your category before payment becomes available.
If TRCN changes the deadline, we’ll update this page. But don’t count on an extension.
The system also currently lists 18 November 2026 as the exam date. However, the candidate portal still describes the exam simply as the November 2026 PQE, and the exam record is still provisional.
So for now, treat 18 November as the best current indication from TRCN’s system — not a final date for every candidate.
PQE diets can run over several days. The November 2025 diet, for example, ran from 20–22 November. Your own date and time will be shown on your exam slip and in TRCN’s notification, so follow those rather than assuming every candidate sits the exam on the first date shown.
Missed November? The next expected PQE is May 2027
May 2027 PQE — dates not yet announced
TRCN normally holds the domestic PQE twice a year, in May and November. So if you miss the November 2026 deadline, your next normal opportunity should be the May 2027 diet.
But there are no confirmed May 2027 dates yet.

If you see an exact May 2027 registration deadline or exam date being shared now, don’t assume it’s correct. We won’t publish one until TRCN does.

Where will you sit the November PQE?
TRCN has not yet published centres for the November 2026 PQE.
Candidates are assigned a centre, and your assigned centre will appear on your exam slip. TRCN also says it sends candidates their exam date and venue by SMS and email at least two weeks before the exam.
Centres can change from one diet to the next, so be careful with old centre lists circulating on WhatsApp, Facebook or other websites. A venue used for an earlier PQE does not tell you where you’ll sit the November 2026 exam.
Your own exam slip and current TRCN notification are what matter.
If the exam is less than two weeks away and you’ve had no SMS or email and can’t see your centre on the candidate portal, contact TRCN support or your TRCN state office.
Once your centre has been assigned, it’s worth checking where it is before exam day — particularly if you don’t know the area. Work out how you’ll get there and give yourself enough travelling time.

What to take to the TRCN PQE
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early.
- Bring your exam slip.
- Bring a valid means of identification.
- Do not take electronic devices into the exam hall.
Give yourself extra time for traffic and for finding the correct building or exam room. You don’t want to arrive rushed for a timed exam.

TRCN has not announced a results date for the November 2026 PQE.
For context, results for the May 2026 diet were announced on 27 May 2026, less than two weeks after that exam began.
That tells us results can be released fairly quickly. It does not mean November results will follow the same timetable.
When TRCN releases the results, you’ll be able to check yours through the official PQE results service using your exam number and the email address you registered with.
